STELLA SHUBERLA
On December 5, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Residence, Stella Shuberla, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 102 years.
She is survived by daughter, Mary Donko of Winnipeg, 2 sons, Chester Pipala (Olga) of St. Catharines, Ontario, Edward Pipala (Rita) of Beausejour, MB, 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband August Shuberla.
Stella was born in Poland on November 14, 1910. She immigrated to Canada in 1930. She settled in Prawda, MB and later moved to Spruce Siding, MB where she spent most of her life on the family farm. Stella moved to Winnipeg in 1974 and resided with her daughter. She spent the last two and a half years at St. Joseph’s Residence.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph’s Residence for giving her loving care. A special thanks to evening nurse Diane, for the extra special care given.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Inkster. Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, #1 Hwy. E & Navin Road.
Pallbearers will be, Leonard Storoziuk, James Paluch, Douglas Wolfe, Nick Wolfe, Clifford Dyrkacz, and Lyman Lavelle.
