Obituary of ZDZISLAW (JIM) LUZNY
Zdzislaw (Jim) Luzny suddenly passed away at his home on December 9th, 2020 at the age of 68. He will be deeply missed and remembered by his daughter Michelle Luzny and grandson Nicholas Hyra, sister Krystyna (Miroslaw) Blazewicz, brother Chris (Christie) Luzny, niece Annette (Matthew) Loewen and nephew Paxton Loewen, nephew Dennis (Lisa) Blazewicz, and many family and friends throughout Canada and Poland.
Zdzislaw was born in Dobrzany, Poland on March 20th, 1952. He moved to Canada in 1967 with his parents and sister. His daughter was born in Canada on July 1st, 1975. He loved her very much and did everything for her. He raised her up within the church with the help of his mother.
There are many things he enjoyed in life, especially spending much time fishing and mushroom picking with his family. Most important to him, however, was spending time together at Christmas and Easter, as well as celebrating birthdays.
He was predeceased by his father Henryk Luzny (2005), mother Wanda Luzny (2020), grandfather Pawel Luzny, grandmother Antonina Luzny, grandfather Franciszek Czajkowski, grandmother Stefania Czajkowska, uncle Zdzislaw Luzny (2011), and uncle Jozef Luzny, uncle Jozef Czajkowski, uncle Rudolf Czajkowski, uncle Jan Czajkowski, and aunt Maria Kolowca.
A private family service will be held on Wednesday, December 16 at St. John Cantius' Church with interment in All Saints Cemetery..
