Obituary of MAY KASPRICK

MAY KASPRICK (CHI-ME) (nee Carriere) After a lengthy illness, on December 4, 2012 May passed away peacefully at the age of 73 years old. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence Nelson on July 15, 2002, parents, Herve Alfred and Louise Marie Carriere, sisters, Julie Boyer and Maria, brother Hector Carriere, and first husband Henry Zastre. May will be sadly missed by her children, Eileen (Derek), Dave (Terry), Ernest (Debbie), Ken (Sandy), Charlene (Dustin), Claudine (Wayne), Miles, and 22 Grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. May is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Claire, Diane, Linda, Noella, Theresa, Joe, Claudette, Ron, Maurice, Isabelle, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom enjoyed her position at Brooklands and Weston Legion #2, Ladies Auxiliary. She was the First Vice-President and Past Officer. Mom also enjoyed playing bingo at the legion hall. Mom loved to bake and cook and enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren. Mom was also a grandmother to all the neighborhood children, her door was always open. The family would like to thank the staff at the Tache Centre 5ABC, 3ABC for their excellent care and compassion for our mother. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters. Viewing and prayers will be said on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 6 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 12 noon at St. Patrick’s Church, 168 Worth Street.
