Obituary of JAMIE KOSOWAN
JAMIE JOHN HARRY KOSOWAN
FOREVER MISSED
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our son, Jamie on December 9, 2012 at the age of 36 years.
Jamie was born on July 15, 1976 at Teulon Memorial Hospital, Teulon, MB
He will be remembered and deeply missed by his mom and dad, Millie and Harry Kosowan; step mom Jeannette Kowalenko; his sister Melodie; grandma Kay Hryciw; many uncles, aunties, cousins, special friends, Diane and family and support workers.
Jamie was predeceased by his grandparents Peter Hryciw, John and Pauline Kosowan, uncle Tony Kosowan, cousins Dwayne and Kirk Husarski and step dad Ike Poirier.
Jamie lived most of his life in Winnipeg. He received his education in Winnipeg, graduating from Garden City Collegiate in 1997.
Jamie enjoyed camping, swimming, travelling, Fall Suppers, Teulon tractor pull, Gimli Elvis Fest., Austin Threshermen's Reunion and Altona Sunflower Festival. He loved his music especially Elvis Presley. For the last 10 years Jamie enjoyed working at East Winds Farms. Jamie enjoyed many road trips with mom and Melodie. We’d pack the car every other weekend and go fishing and camping. We have many special memories to hold close to our hearts. Everyone who knew Jamie loved him.
The family wishes to give a huge thank-you to my friend Levinia Scott for helping me with funeral arrangements, also Diane and family and support workers, Pastor Omer Desjardins at St. Boniface Hospital, Father Peter Chorney and Patrick Doyle-Funeral Director.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 17 , 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jamie’s memory to St. Boniface Research Centre.
