Obituary of ANTONY TONY KLAINCHAR
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Tony Klainchar on March 6, 2021 at the age of 84.
Tony is survived by his loving wife Janina, children Lidia (Kevin), Randy (Darlene), Jason (Theresa); grandchildren Brenden (Brittany), Jordan (Tatjana), Janelle, Chantal, Joel and great-grandchild Ella; also, his brothers Branko and Milan and sister Stefka.
Tony was pre-deceased by his parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Tony immigrated to Canada from Slovenia at the age of 17. He met Janina and they married in August 1961. This year they would have celebrated 60 years. Tony worked for Greater Winnipeg Gas until his retirement.
He was a very hard-working man that always provided for his family. He never hesitated to help his children.
A private family service with Mass will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, followed by internment at Holy Ghost Cemetery.
Due to COVID restrictions, a live stream of the service will be available at www.holyghost.ca on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. before Mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Villa Rosa in memory of Tony.
We love you forever
