Obituary of OLIVE ANGELE KRAMBLE

OLIVE ANGELE KRAMBLE (NEE BRISSON)

1928-2021

We are very sad to announce the peaceful passing of our dear Mother Olive in the comfort of our home on March 26th 2021 at the age of 93 years. Olive was predeceased by her husband Harold, her son John McIntyre, all her brothers and sisters, and her Grandson Tom Sontag. Olive is survived by her two daughters Linda Holbrook, Donna Sontag, 7 Grandchildren, and 12 Great Grandchildren.

Olive was born in Otterburne Manitoba in 1928 to Joseph and Rose Brisson. Her family eventually moved to Transcona. Her very first job at the early age of 15 was at Eaton’s Catalogue and the next she worked at the Hudson’s Bay in the shoe department. Olive always had a keen sense of business and after raising her family and losing her husband decided to open up a second hand store called Mom’s and Children’s Paradise in 1981. She loved working with family and continued to work until the store closed in 2013. All of the family grew up in the store and we all kept very close.

Olive also enjoyed cooking and baking. All we had to do was ask and whatever we desired appeared almost by magic the next day.

Our Mother/ Grandmother had the heart of an angel and was always there for each and every one of us. She taught us to work hard, and anything was always possible. The word ‘’can’t’’ was never allowed in our vocabulary because everything is always possible.

Cremation has taken place and was entrusted to Cropo Funeral Chapel. A private family service will be held at a later time.

Mom/Grandma/Nana, you were and always will be our inspiration! Love forever!
