Obituary of DENISE LITARDI (nee JAWORSKI)
DENISE LITARDI (nee JAWORSKI)
Peacefully on Friday, May 7, 2021 on the eve of her 75th birthday at Grace Hospital with her son Vince and daughter-in-law Laurel at her side.
Denise was born and raised in England and immigrated to Canada where she married and raised her family. She received her certificate in accounting and for many years dedicated her career to credit management. Denise was predeceased by her husband Osvaldo and father Ludwick. She is survived by her children Vince (Laurel) and Chiara (Andre); grandchildren Adriana, Nicholas, Jasper, Sam and Stella, her sister Janine (Tom), nephews Tommy (Heather), Justin, niece Summer, mother Marjorie, brother Stefan and extended family and friends.
In life she had various roles and influenced many people, none more than as a sister, mother, grandmother and very good friend. She loved fiercely, had a big heart and was always helping others. It was her many passions that brought her spirit to life! A love for the theatre, traveling and entertaining friends and family at home or at one of her favourite restaurants. Oh how she loved going out for dinners. Anyone who knew Denise would know some of her favourite things all started with the letter R! Racing (Formula One specifically). She would wake up at the crack of dawn to watch these races and yell encouragingly at the drivers. The Royals. Whether it was literature, documentaries or taking her children to every castle in England she loved the monarchy. Last but not least, Rod Stewart. Singing his songs and attending his concerts was where she would let loose and sometimes embarrass her family the most. We will miss her and are grateful for many fun memories together. Thank you to everyone who filled her life with joy.
As per her wishes, no service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
