Obituary of CREMILDE DASILVA
CREMILDE MEDEIROS DASILVA
October 12, 1932 – May 8, 2021
We are sad to announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Cremilde DaSilva at the age of 88 years. She passed away peacefully on May 8, 2021, to be re-united with her beloved husband Humberto and two sons, Humberto Manuel and Carlos.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Gilda (Louis), as well as grandsons, Michael (Mandy), Garett (Mandy), Mark (Lyz), great-grandson Lucas of Chicago, Illinois and grand-daughter, Selena (Miguel) as well as great-grandchildren, Austin, Santino, Savaro, Athena, Sienna, Zoe, and Beau. She also leaves to remember her several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
During the last few years Dementia took away her memory of us, but we will never forget her and the kind and gentle person that she was in her better days. Even though she is physically gone, she will live on in our memories of better times filled with love and happiness.
Thank you to the staff at Kildonan Personal Care Home for taking excellent care of Mom during the last 2 years, when it became difficult to look after her at home.
Due to covid restrictions a private family ceremony will be held at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum in Assumption Cemetery, Mom’s final resting place alongside Dad who has been waiting for her since 2006.
Rest in peace Mom, God be with you, till we meet again.
