VINFORD ASWYN WEEKES

The good lord called him back home on May 5, 2021 at Health Sciences Centre at the age of 70 years.

He was predeceased by his mother Dolrist Weekes and father Clifford Weekes.

Vinford is survived by his wife Carlita, children Natasha, Chorine and Adrian; grandchildren Sienna, Coco and Nathan.

Today we celebrate the life of Vinford Aswyn Weekes. Born on November 18, 1950 in St. Vincent and The Grenadines.

Vinford met his wife, Carlita Weekes in St. Vincent and later married in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Vin worked for Versatile Farm Equipment for 25 years.

Growing up he played cricket as well as soccer. Vinny loved a good game of Dominos with his friends, he loved listening to his tunes and spending most of his days keeping up with the scores of the latest sports games and more importantly watching Young and the Restless with his wife by his side.

We are forever grateful to all of you, Vinny will be cherished in our hearts always.

Those we love don’t go away they walk beside us everyday. Still loved, still missed and always dear.

Pallbearers will be Randy Wilson, Orson Rowe, Tony Brathwaite and Dennis Cupid. The Eulogy will be said by Carol Rowe.

The family especially thanks Randolph Wilson and family; all the families and wonderful friends who called to inquire, Dr. Salem, all the special doctors and nurses and staff at St. Boniface hospital, The Asper Institute and the Health Sciences Centre ICU.
