As one of the newest members of the Chapman Family my first memorey of Robbie was the very first Christmas Day with the Chapman Clan - meeting ALL those people - how daunting! but Robbie was this very energetic and friendly guy who tried to describe each person there and their relationship to each other. It was evident that he was very proud to be a part of the Chapman Family. Over the years I also have come to know Robbie as a very kind hearted man who was always willing to lend a hand whenever he could. I don't think "NO I CAN'T" was part of his vocabulary when it came to helping others. There are many great memories of Robbie to keep you laughing and smiling forever.

Please accept my condolences. Reading the messages, from friends I can see that Robbie was a terrific person and family man. I wish I had know him more over the years.

We'll remember Robbie's big heart, willingness to help everyone and genuine zest for life. I remember waking up at the beach to Robbies loud, exuberant "Good Morning" call - there is no-one else I know who greeted the day with such enthusiasm and energy.

Robbie's passions were for his family and anything mechanical. He always showed unwaivering love and enthusiasm for both. To many people, he will be remembered for his many kind and generous offers to help out with any tasks to be done. He addressed all of his endeavours with his characteristic high energy, optimistic and sometimes unusual approaches. Robbie will be missed.

Robbie was very kind and considerate to our mother. When he was taking classes at Red River, he would eat his lunch every day at mum's. The first thing he would do was go to the kitchen and make her tea. Mum enjoyed the company. He did many thoughtful things for her, treating her like his own mother. We will miss him.

We are very sorry for your loss. Donna Lou and I are so fortunate that Robbie came to Tall Pines so that we could know the Thomson family.. "YOU GO NOWHERE BY ACCIDENT. EVERYWHERE YOU GO GOD IS SENDING YOU. EVERYWHERE YOU ARE GOD HAS PUT YOU."

We have many fond memories of Robbie - from family gatherings at Christmas, to just hanging around at the cottage. He was always smiling and loved being outdoors, especially fishing. He would do anything for anyone, and could fix or weld almost any piece of machinery. Above all, he loved his family very much. You could see his love for his family in pictures - usually he was hugging someone; and if he wasn't hugging them, he was goofing around with them. He was a very proud husband, father and grandfather. We will miss you Robbie. Rest in peace.

Family dinners, events, and daily encounters were never boring. :) Thank you for always making me feel like an important member of your family and for being such a caring Poppy to the boys. We still can't quite believe that you're gone. We all miss you. Sandra will be well taken care of. :)
