Obituary of PHILIP DROHOMERESKI
PHILIP (PHIL) DROHOMERESKI
November 5, 1941 – June 15, 2021
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our Husband, Father and Papa, Phil on June 15, 2021 with his beloved wife Lois by his side.
Phil is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, his children; daughter Shannon (Michael), son Ryan (Shelly), grandchildren Hunter, Jessie, Zander and Connor, sisters; Deanna, Eleanore (Randy), Victoria (Peter), sister in-law Donna, nieces and nephews.
Phil was predeceased by his sister Janet and brother in-laws John and Cec.
Dad and Mom enjoyed camping as well as bus trips across Canada and the US with family and friends. Dad enjoyed curling and bonspiel’s, also volunteering at the Brier and World Curling. One of the most memorable trips for the entire family was when Grandma and Papa took the grandkids to Disney World and the adults were allowed to go too.
Dad and Mom were members at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church for over 45 years and in recent years’ members of St. Saviour’s Anglican Church.
Special Thanks to dad’s sister Deanna Pringle and Rev. Edmund Laldin for their help and support to both mom and dad.
The family will be forever grateful that our mom was able to provide loving care to our dad at home until his passing.
Due to Covid restrictions Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
Live Stream on St. Saviour’s Anglican Church Facebook Page (690 Munroe Ave, Winnipeg) at 2:00 p.m. and available for viewing on their You Tube channel after the service.
