CZESLADA (SYLIVA) BERG
April 29, 1935-June 15, 2021
Suddenly on Tuesday June 15, 2021 Syliva passed away at St. Boniface Hospital. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 46 years Eugene. Survived by 3 sons Doug(Karen), Frank(Debbie), Leo(Shelley). 5 grandchildren Samantha(Jesse),Kevin, Amanda(Cody) , Maggy, Jocelyn(Skyler). Great grandchildren who were the apple of her eye Amelia, Noah, Alivia, Henry.
She was born in Porcupine Plain, Saskatchewan to Victoria and Frank Skawski. She got married to her soul mate Eugene in 1957. She moved to Winnipeg with Eugene and the boys. She became an accountant at E.H. Price and many other places. She was an avid curler and enjoyed coaching jr. girls/boys at Transcona curling club. She was a passionate golfer and was also a snow bird residing in Harlingen, Texas so she could play golf year round. She played at Kildonan Golf Course and Shooters with many friends over the years. She belonged to UCT and was involved in youth golfing. With the Red Hatters, she loved going on outings and new adventures. She loved nothing more than winning pennies in rummoli. The last couple of years she spent a lot of time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren hanging out, singing songs, going for lunches and many bbqs in the back yard.
