MAIZIE (MAE) RAILIAN (NEE SOROKA)

After a lengthy illness Maizie passed away on June 12, 2021 at 2:35 p.m. at Fred Douglas Lodge.

Maizie grew up in a small town in Gronlid, Saskatchewan. She came to Winnipeg as a teenager. She resided on Smithfield Avenue adjacent to Scotia Street. She attended West Kildonan Collegiate.

After completing her schooling, she worked in several jobs and then started working at the Bay where she met Bob. They knew at first sight they were meant for each other. They were married for 62 wonderful years.

They have two daughters; Cindy and Renee who both reside in Vancouver. Bob and Mae travelled extensively over the years. Mae loved the warm weather and sunny beaches.

We would like to thank the people at Fred Douglas Lodge, Kerron Kidd, and the many people, nurses and care workers who gave such loving care to Maizie.
