Obituary of SHARON ELIZABETH BEITZ

SHARON ELIZABETH BEITZ

(Huchenski)

It is with overwhelming sadness we announce the sudden passing of Sharon Elizabeth Beitz (Huchenski) at the age of 76 on July 31, 2021.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Tom; children, Debbie (Rob), Tom Jr (Terry), and Jennifer; grandchildren, Josh, Sarah, Logan, Kayla, Tyler, Emily, Reagan, Emma, Alec, and Lauryn; sisters, JoAnn, Susie (Greg), and Polly; brothers and sisters-in-law, Peter (Babs), Bobby (Carol), Margret (Gary) and Jimmy (Shirley);  nieces and nephews, Tyson, Lindsay, Brandy, Jeff, Jason, David, Glenn, Jamie and many great grandnieces and grandnephews, friends and co-workers.

Predeceased by parents Russell and Ernestine Huchenski; and brothers-in-law, Brian Liebrecht and Niels Dyrberg.

Mom (Willma) was born and raised in Fort William Ontario (Thunder Bay), where she married Dad (Tom) and had her children.  She moved to Winnipeg in 1978 after a job transfer with Revenue Canada and built our home in Oakbank, Manitoba.  After retirement in 1994 Mom and Dad moved to Paradise Village in Ste Anne, MB, and travelled to Mesa, Az in the winter for many years. Of course they made many trips to Vegas. After Arizona they moved to Henderson Hwy. in Winnipeg and Mom started a second career with Halcon where she worked for another 16 years.  She loved to work and enjoyed taking a break with numerous trips to Shooting Star, where she always had a lucky streak.

Family was important to Mom and she loved us unconditionally.  Her favorite responses were “Yes dearie” and “everything happens for a reason”.  She never ended a call or text without “I love you”.   She always put her children first and loved her husband with all her heart.  She was amazing, loving, strong, selfless and graceful.

We will miss you terribly Mom.

You are the foundation of our family values and leave a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.

                       Till we meet again.
