Obituary of PATRICK "PAT" MORIN
PATRICK “PAT” MORIN
Patrick “Pat” Morin, 78, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2021 at The Convalescent Home of Winnipeg.
Pat was preceded in death by his final love in life, Janice, his parents, Alexander & Antoinette, his sister Helene and his sister-in-law Louise. He is survived by his 3 daughters, Bobbi (Jeavon), Sheri, and Deanna (Danny), grandchildren Destinie (Kris), Tyrell, Serena, William, Keenyn, Daniel, Sarah, Michael and Deshawdria, 4 great-grandchildren, Amelija, Audrina, Anica, and Andrijana, brothers Brice (Nicole), Ray (Chris), Roger (Louise), Colin (Lynne), Gerry, Dennis, and many nieces and nephews.
Pat had a love of all things in nature. He was known to take pictures of the many animals, plants/flowers, and storms he saw along his travels. He was a very musical person, who could play a song he liked on the piano without any sheet music. He spent many summers enjoying the various musicians at the jazz festivals and events. However, his true musical passion was anything rock n’ roll and he was undeniably proud to share a favorite tune with anyone that would listen. He was an avid football fan, and loved watching a good weekend game at home with his family. He was always up for an impromptu drive to a small town, a meal in a local mom and pop restaurant, or a local vintage car show. Pat’s presence and unique personality will be missed by all that knew him.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Cropo Funeral Chapel at 1442 Main St., Winnipeg at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Winnipeg Humane Society, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 0R3.
