STELLA SKOCYLAS
(nee Cottes)
October 23, 1935 - November 28, 2011
With sadness the family of Stella, announces her passing, on November 29, 2011.
She leaves behind her children, Janet, Patricia (Tim), Robert, grandchildren, Tamara
(Chris),Tanya, Aleena (Kenny), Shayla, Alyssa, Amanda, and great grandchild Aidan.
Mom was predeceased by her husband, Walter (March 1993), her parents, Mike and Ann
Cottes, her siblings, Tony, Sophie, Mel and Mary plus her brother-in-law Walter and
sisters-in-law Nellie, Joanne, and Bernadette.
She also leaves to mourn her passing, sister Joyce, brothers Lloyd (Phyllis), Lawrence, and sister Helen (Leonard) and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Mom worked hard all her life, side by side with Dad to help provide for their family. If
she wasn't working for someone else, serving in restaurants , bookkeeping or
helping others raise their children, she was gardening, making preserves and perogies.
Funeral service will be held Friday, December 2, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Munroe and Watt with interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd.
