Obituary of Frederick Martin Lylyk
Frederick Martin Lylyk peacefully passed on October 13, 2021 at the age of 78. Fred was born in Swan River, MB on June 11, 1943. Fred was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Minnie Lylyk, as well as his cousins Jean, Paul and Alex. He leaves to mourn his loving partner Doreen, his children Martin, Paul , Wanda (Mark), Larry (Lisa), Kevin (Irene), Kari (Scott); his brother Dennis, His Nephew Derek , as well as his many grandchildren and great grandchildren and cousins.
One of Fred’s favorite things was spending time with his great grandchildren Arabella and Rayden and all if his grand puppies. He also very much enjoyed his weekly coffee visits with Laurence, Joe and Dan. Fred always loved family gatherings and spending time with his family and friends as often as he could.
He was extremely kind hearted, loving and compassionate, always showing so much gratitude for the people around him. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Doreen would like to express sincere thanks for the amazing care and support provided by the St. Boniface Emergency Department and 5th and 2nd floor ICU Doctors and Nurses.
The Service for Fred will be held on Thursday, October 21 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street in Winnipeg. All who attend must be fully vaccinated and masked according to Manitoba Public Health orders.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Fred’s memory to a pet rescue of your choice.
