JAMES JAWORSKI

After a lengthy illness, James A. Jaworski (Jim) at the age of 55 on October 22, 2021 passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Jim was predeceased by both his parents Frank and Rose Jaworski.

Jim is survived by his sisters Marie and Patricia and his niece Reagan and nephew Carson.

Jim grew up in River Heights and attended St. Ignatius, St. John Brebeuf and Kelvin High School. Jim had a passion for Winnipeg Transit and ran an unofficial website for many years. He was a strong advocate for rapid transit and hoped to see his dream realized. Jim worked at the Federal Department of Agriculture for a number of years and later enjoyed volunteer work at the Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba.

Cremation has taken place and a private family service was held at Cropo Funeral Chapel. In keeping with Jim’s wishes he will be buried alongside his maternal Baba Jessie at Holy Ghost Cemetery. Donations in Jim’s memory may be made to the Mood Disorder Association of Manitoba.
