Obituary of KASMIR STOSKI
KASMIR STOSKI (1918-2013)
With deep sorrow we announce the passing of our father on January 3, 2013.
Kasmir Stoski will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter Pat
Zenith (Len) of Medicine Hat, Alberta; son Brian (Jodene) of Winkler, Manitoba; four grandchildren, Sherry, Lenny Jr., Tammy, and Corene; two great-grandchildren, Maegan and Lenny III; and one great great-grandchild, Dominic.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Caroline, in 2008 and leaves behind a brother-in-law Marvin O’Neil (Nellie) and sister-in-law Minnie Stocki in Winnipeg as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was employed as a supervisor in the manufacturing of mattresses for many
years until retirement. Lest we forget his service in the army in World War II.
Dad had an enjoyable life for a wonderful 94 years. He was very loving and a
supportive man to his family. He loved growing his own flowers and found great
enjoyment in his beautiful yard, winning many prizes. He especially loved his trips to the cabin at Grand Beach with Mom and their dog "Holly". Mushroom and blueberry picking as well as watching the lake from the sun deck with a cigar (in the earlier years) were his favourite pastimes. At 90 years, he enjoyed giving input to the design of a new cabin being built in which to create newer memories. The great-grandchildren called him "Buddy" enticing his lust for life to never dwindle.
His family would like to thank the staff at Misericordia (Corinsh #2) for the
excellent care he received and his nephew Larry for the regular visits.
Family and friends are invited to remember Kaz on Friday, January 11, at 1:00pm
