Obituary of JAMES WILLIAM PORTH
JAMES WILLIAM PORTH
April 25, 1993-September 24, 2021
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpecting passing of James (Jimmy) Porth in Winnipeg on Thursday, September 24, 2021 at 28 years of age.
Jimmy will be lovingly remembered and missed by his brothers Dale, Blayne and Chris as well as his daughter Laynah. Jimmy was predeceased by his mother Kimberley, father Dale and grandfather Jim Bullard and grandmother Evelyn Porth. James also leaves to mourn his aunts, uncles, and cousins too numerous to mention.
Jimmy was born on April 25th, 1993 in Winnipeg where he grew up in Windsor Park. Jimmy attended Frontenac school where he met lifelong friends and later attended Windsor Park Collegiate. Growing up Jimmy enjoyed playing sports such as soccer, hockey, and basketball. As a young kid Jimmy also enjoyed spending his days playing with his brothers and enjoyed the times spent out at Beavercreek and Hecla in the summertime. Jimmy also really enjoyed drawing and art and had a great eye for it from a young age. On July 25th, 2014 the most important person in Jimmy’s life came into this world, his daughter Laynah who he loved and was his pride and joy. He enjoyed spending his days taking her for walks to the park where they would play for hours.
The family would like to thank all family and friends who have offered condolences and support.
A memorial service will be planned to celebrate Jimmy’s life on November 2, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main street.
