Obituary of CHARLES LEONARD YERLITZ
Charles passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the St. Boniface General Hospital at the age of 58 years.
He was predeceased by his wife Carla Yerlitz, parents Ed “Bud” Yerlitz, Claire Duplisea, Calvin Duplisea, sister Patricia Yerlitz and brother Donnie Duplisea.
Charles is survived by and lovingly remember by his children, Jody (Kodey) Naruse, Alex Yerlitz, Anthony Yerlitz and Jacob (Keevan) Yerlitz and grandchild Clara. He also leaves his brothers, Ed (Jackie) Yerlitz, Jim “Bimmer” (Elyse) Yerlitz, Stanley (dec. Judy) Duplisea, Doug “Duper” Duplisea; sisters, Lynn (Glenn) Thompson, Wendy (Richard) Lacourse, Mary Lou (Brian) Pidduck, Donna (dec. Rod) Neill, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Charles was born and raised in North Bay Ontario. He moved to The Pas, Manitoba in his young adult life where he met his wife Carla. Chuck and Carla moved to Winnipeg and raised their four children in Transcona. Chuck had many life long friends that shared his love for Harley Davidson motorcycles. He spent a majority of his career as a truck driver. Chuck will be missed by many friends and family.
The family especially thanks the following people; Morgan Everett, Danny Keats and Dave Woodcock.
A Celebration of Charles life will be held on a future date.
