Dear Family:
I am so sorry for your loss. I taught Kevin at Holy Cross School when he was in Gr. 7 in the seventies.
He was a memorable student. I really enjoyed having him in class. He had a great sense of humour and made great connections when we studied works of literature and world history. He was always eager to help out in class.
Know that Kevin loved his whole family very much. He was always eager to come to my desk, almost daily, to tell me a story about his many accomplished siblings and their spouses. He was an entertaining storyteller.
Mrs. Devine, you and your husband raised a wonderful Family. You all have made the world a more special place.
May God grant Kevin eternal rest and may his memory be a blessing for all of you.
With warm memories,
Carol Hryniuk-Adamov

Having met Kevin only once when he came here with Lorne, but what smile and a great laugh. I hope there are brighter days ahead for the family. I’ve always loved your family

I am so saddened to hear of Kevin’s passing. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Kevin, but I hold many memories close to my heart and will smile when I think of him. Taken entirely too soon, but will not be forgotten. My condolences to all who loved him.

My heartfelt sympathies to each and every family member on this heartbreaking loss. My family was blessed to know the Devine family ever since I was a small child. Even though my family moved to my mother's home town of Ottawa when I was 16, it was always a joy to know the Devine family. I first met Kevin when he was 4 on a visit to Winnipeg and he was a perfectly delightful child, impossible to forget. I was able to see him a number of times in recent years, when I visited Winnipeg. He was a great man, very caring (especially to his beautiful Mom), with a good sense of humour, hard-working, and a friend to people of all ages. The best guy ever, a perfectly lovable guy. The Devine family's love is rock solid and I am privileged to know them. I am keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Mrs.Devine. I would like to start off by saying I am shocked and saddened by the passing of Kev. Even though we drifted apart I have still known him for basically all of our life's. 49-50 years.
Heavy Chevy Kevy will always be in my thoughts. The trouble we got into and all the great times we had will be cherished for the rest of my life.
I would like to pass on my deepest condolences to you and your family. Heavy Chevy Kevy will Reilly be missed.
Rob&Tammy Kiliwnik and family.
