VICKIE KNOWLES

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mother Vickie Knowles aged 70 years old after her courageous battle with cancer on January 23, 2022.

Vickie was pre-deceased by her mother Colleen, sister Kim and brother Dale

She leaves behind to mourn her children Michelle (Tony), Shane (Pam), Daniel (Amanda)and Jason; grandchildren Charla (Paul), Kaitlin, Tricia, Samantha, Maya, Michael, Rachael (Tyler), Jordan, Alex (Alyssa), Dorian (Taylor), Kimberly, Mya, Isabelle, Elliot, Parker and Jacob.

She also leaves behind her father Walter, brother Warren and numerous nieces,  nephews, and her best friend Casper.

Vickie was born in Morden and had spent most of her life here in Winnipeg.

She had touched many hearts and those around her loved her very much. She had enjoyed spending time with her family, puzzling and reading.

She had spent the remaining days surrounded by her loved ones. It would be wrong to say she lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. Vickie stayed strong. She will be deeply missed.

We love you Mom.

A funeral service will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to Canadian Cancer Society in Vickie’s name.
