I remember Renee and the family from when I was a child, visiting my grandma next door (in Transcona) and playing with Dennis, who is just a few years younger than I am. I remember Renee as a kind and fun and loving person with a big smile and a bigger heart. I have thought of her often through the years and her obituary brought back a flood of memories, as my own mom recently passed away too.

I'm very sorry for your loss. She was a strong and wonderful person with a great sense of humour and had a very detailed knowledge of local history. Her spirit will be with you always.. which means that you will have to behave yourselves. :-)
