Obituary of FLORENCE BLANCHARD
Peacefully on Thursday, February 3, 2022 Florence (nee Korol) entered the gates of Heaven to join her husband Joseph, brother Rudy, sisters-in-law Leona and Elaine as well as her parents Anne and John.
Those left behind will cherish the time spent with our Mother, Aunt, Cousin and dear friend. We will never forget how she changed and enhanced so many lives with her love and pure joy.
She was a proud member of St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church as a child in Children of Mary, Ukrainian Catholic Youth and most recently in the Ukrainian Catholic Women's League of Canada.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital 5E and 6E units, the Palliative Homecare Program and the Redemptorist Fathers for the prayers and support especially Fr. Bohdan and Fr. Frank who spent time with Mom in her last few days.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Blessed Vasyl Velychkovsky Martyr's Shrine, The Welcome Home, Tails of Freedom Pet Rescue or CancerCare.
A private family service was held.
Goodnight, I love you, Sweet Dreams, Don’t let the bedbugs bite.
