MARGARET TURCHYN
With deep sadness the family announces the passing of Margaret Turchyn. Mom was born on November 8, 1920 in Juno, MB to Fred and Anne (Baletki) Pawlyshyn. She passed away peacefully on January 13, 2013 at Kin Place Personal Care Home in Oakbank, MB.
Margaret leaves to mourn, son Ronald (Sandra) Turchyn and Alice (Allan) Tetrault; grandchildren, Tracy Blaikie, Carrie Turchyn (Mike Prouty), Travis (Loretta) Tetrault, Justin (Tara) Tetrault and Tyler (Kelly) Tetrault; great-grandchildren, Spencer Blaikie and Darienne Warnke, Emily, Katie, Leena, Sophie, Charlie and Anita Tetrault,; sister Eva (Russ) Cooley; sisters-in-law Sophie Pawlyshyn and Marcia Pawlyshyn, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents; sister Nettie Proceviat; brothers, Harry and Peter; nephews Gary Pawlyshyn and Lloyd Cooley.
Mom was born on November 8, 1920 to Fred and Anne (Baletki) Pawlyshyn in Juno, MB.
Prayers will be held on Thursday, January 17 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, January 18 at 11:00 a.m. at the Exaltation of the Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church, Elma, MB with Fr. Mark Gnutel officiating. Interment to follow in Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Margaret’s memory to the Exaltation of the Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church, Elma, MB, Box 118, Elma MB, R0E 0Z0.
