Obituary of WILLIAM (BILL) RUDOLPH DEBERSON (DEBRECEN)
WILLIAM(BILL) RUDOLPH DEBERSON (DEBRECEN)
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Bill on January 11, 2013. Bill was born in Kipling, Saskatchewan January 29, 1922, to parents Paul and Elizabeth (Gyuricsko) Debrecen.
Bill is survived by brothers John, Jim, Fred and Jerry Debrecen and sisters Julia Hickey, Ida Murray, Emma Hrycuk, Mary Stephenson, Gloria Harker and long time friend Ann Zuk. He was predeceased by brother Paul and sister Olga Johnson.
Bill worked many years for Dominion Bronze, Western Tools and Manitoba Bridge as a draftsman and estimator. He served with the RCAF during WWII, something he was always proud of. He was a long time member of #9 Legion and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Bill was able to enjoy many years as an avid curler winning a truckload of trophies. He was an accomplished ballroom dancer competing at an interprovincial level. Golfing was also a sport taken very seriously by Bill and enjoyed into his 80's.
In keeping with Bill's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
