Forlorn! This is probably the closest word to describe how we felt with your passing Daddy. However, we are comforted because we know you are in a far better place.

It is therefore with this great hope and comfort in our heart that we announce the passing of our dear Father, Husband, and Grandfather, Pastor (Engr) Patrick Olu Ale (FNSE). He was born Dec 1. 1962, and left March 26, 2022. He is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.

He was a devout lover of God, His Wife, Children and of course his work. Widely famed for his generosity and large heart, Pastor Olu Ale will never leave a room without leaving his mark. He was a wise man, full of godly wisdom, an amiable person and a disciplined disciplinarian.

As a pastor, He served God at various capacities and at different parishes in The Redeemed Christian Church of God. He was the Area Pastor of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, His Banner area, at Calabar.

A great lover of education, he rose from being a pupil Engineer and through sheer grit and resilience, he rose to the peak of his career as a fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers. He belonged to the following professional societies; Fellow, Nigerian Society of Engineers. Fellow, Nigeria Institution of Water Engineers, Member, Nigerian Institution of Structural Engineers, Member, Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers, COREN, registered member. Prior to his demise, he was the Deputy Director, Physical Planning at the University of Calabar, Nigeria.

He will be greatly missed by his immediate family and the society at large, however his impacts will forever be felt.

Funeral service will start at 10:00 a.m.(CST)/4:00 p.m.(Lagos time) on Tuesday, April 5th at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, Canada. This will also be broadcasted live on cropo.com. Burial will follow immediately at Brookside Cemetery.
