Obituary of S. MARTIN NAGELKOP
February 28, 1955 - March 31, 2022
On a beautiful sunny day, Martin Nagelkop passed peacefully with family at his side. Martin was survived by his daughters Candice (Chris), Amber, and Carolyn, as well as his brother Harvey. Martin is predeceased by his wife Shelley, his brother Mickey, and sisters Shelley and Carol. Martin was a joyful, funny, and hardworking man who loved music, action movies, a "double fatboy" burger, and the colour yellow. Other than his daughters, Martin was most proud of his long career as an airplane mechanic with Canadian Airlines, and eventually Air Canada where he made numerous lifelong friends. Martin was a talented furniture upholsterer and refinisher, and a "jack of all trades" that could fix nearly anything. Martin will be remembered most for his sense of humour, his generosity, and his unwavering willingness to drop everything to provide support for his daughters, his family, and his friends. Martin was a kind and loving man, and will be missed.
