Obituary of GAIL PATRICIA BOUTTELL
GAIL BOUTTELL
July 7, 1940 – April 4, 2022
The family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Gail on April 4th. She was predeceased by her mother Mildred, her father William Fleming and also by her husband Clyde. She is survived by her son Randall (Michelle).
Gail was actively employed by the Royal Bank of Canada for 25 years, from 1960 through to the mid-eighties. She spent most of those years at the Main Branch located at 220 Portage Avenue. Her health was never 100%, and for the past 12 years, had been on a steady downward trend. The turning point for her health care came in late 2014 when a series of infections put her twice in intensive care at St. Boniface Hospital and one time in intensive care at Concordia Hospital. Gail fought bravely through these infections but lost a lot of her strength and stamina as well. In her final years, Gail resided in Deer Lodge Centre, Chronic Care.
The family would like to thank all the dedicated staff on the fifth floor at Deer Lodge Centre, Chronic Care for their care and compassion. Rest in peace Mom. Your struggles are now over. Love always, Randy and Michelle.
