Obituary of STEVEN ANDREW MINGO
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Steven Andrew Mingo of Winnipeg, Manitoba who was taken from us tragically on April 20th 2022, at the age of 30.
Steven is survived by his parents Edward and Marion Mingo; his sons Steven and Christopher Moar and their mother Amy Ann Moar; his siblings John, Monica, Trevor, Desmond & Alexandria; 8 nieces and nephews, aunties, uncles, lots of cousins and numerous friends.
Steven was born in Winnipeg, MB on September 10th, 1991, to Edward and Marion Mingo. Steven met Amy Ann on New Year’s Day 2010, together they had two beautiful boys Steven & Christopher Moar.
Steven was a father, a son, a nephew, brother, a cousin, an uncle & a loyal friend. He put everyone above himself, he was always helping others, no questions asked and made sure his loved ones were taken care of. He was an outgoing loving father with a gentle soul who protected his family. For him, family wasn’t just a word, it wasn’t about the DNA, it was about the connection. Steven was a natural leader, he understood people for who they were and never judged anyone.
Steven was the “cool big cousin/uncle”, no matter how long it was since you last saw him, he always treated you with the same level of respect as he always had. Steven had so much love to give & only wanted the best for his children and family. He was the type to always have wisdom to share, he would always remind his loved one how proud he was of them and how much he cared. Steven was full of love and will forever be missed by his friends and family.
