Obituary of JEAN IRENE KEMASH

On April 19, 2022 we lost the strongest and most selfless person we know. Jean Irene Kemash (Eastman), more commonly known as “Nana”, will be missed beyond words by everyone who knew her.

Nana will be fondly remembered at her grandchildren’s hockey games, including her bag of endless candies to share with everyone in the stands. If there was an award for the most dedicated fan every season, Nana surely would have been top contender. Spending the summers camping, fishing trips, walks with Bear and eating “double dogs” at the Half Moon are some of the many wonderful memories made with her. We are fortunate to know how much we meant to her and can embrace her memory and continue to admire her knowing this.

Mom, you have no idea how much you are already missed by us all. You truly are the strongest person we know. You always have been. You are so loved and we will forever cherish our memories of you to always make us smile. Just the way you would have wanted it.

In respecting with her wishes, there will be no formal service. We encourage you to enjoy one of her favourite treats in her memory, a Diet Pepsi and an apple fritter.
