It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mary Elizabeth Pronyk from a heart attack May 15th, 2022 at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg with loved ones at her side.
Mary was born March 22, 1950 in Moose Jaw, SK where she met and married William (Bill) Pronyk August 26, 1972.
Mary was predeceased by her parents John (Jack) and Lillian (Cedergren) Yake and brother Brian (Tracy) Yake. She leaves behind her husband Bill of Garland, MB; sister Lynne (Albert) Georget of Saskatoon, SK; sons Carl (Sara) of Coquitlam BC, and Russell (Jessica) of Winnipeg; and grandchildren: Henry, Gordie, Holly, Violet, Charlie, and Lily; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Her passion in life was her children and grandchildren and she was so happy to have been surrounded by them in her final days. Family and friends will be left with fond memories of Mary.
Mary will be cremated and her ashes interred at a later date in Moose Jaw, SK.
Flowers are graciously declined and memorial donations may be made in lieu to the Humane Society as Mary had a passion for cats.
