NORMAN LEONARD CHARTRAND
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Norman Leonard Chartrand on May 18, 2022 at St. Boniface Hospital of a massive heart attack at the age of 51 years old.
Norman was born September 25, 1970 and will be lovingly remembered by his wife Cynthia, his four boys Shane, Shawn, Nathin (Amanda) Norman, and his baby girl Catalina. His grandchildren Kiara, Calie, Angelina, Bella, Zabrina, Averie, Cameron and Paris. His sister Betty and his brothers Ralph, Morris, Pat and Alfred as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Louise Chartrand, his father Norman Nepinak, his sister Judy Guiboche and his niece Lacey Guiboche.
Norman enjoyed playing on his computer as well fishing, hunting and eating and trying new foods. He also enjoyed going camping every year with his family and loved going to the movies.
He had many friends and family and will be dearly missed and happily remembered. Now he is our angel who will be with us all in our hearts forever. Thank you Norman for all the fond memories.
The family would like to thank St. Boniface Hospital staff for all their support and compassion during this difficult time.
Wake service will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at noon, going all night, until 9:00 a.m. at the Freight House door 5. The funeral service will take place Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 3:00p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Followed by a gathering for friends & family at the Freight House, 200 Isabel Ave door 5-6.
Honorary pallbearer will be Norman Morrissette
Pallbearers are Shane, Shawn, Nathin, Johnny Alfred and Jason and all who knew him.
