Obituary of MARK ROMAN WOJCIK
MARK WOJCIK
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, brother and uncle, Mark, on June 14, 2022. He passed away peacefully in his home at the age of 58, spending his last days surrounded by family and friends.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Dorota, his brothers Ted (Teresa) and Henry (Pat); his in-laws Urszula (late Mieczyslaw), Marian (Danuta), Alicja (Hieronim); and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Richard and parents Agrypina and Kazimierz.
Mark was born October 25, 1963 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Mark was a hard worker and proudly worked for the family business, Wawel Meat Market, producing the finest garlic sausage in the city.
In June 1994 he was lucky enough to marry the love of his life, Dorota. He was a very loving husband and enjoyed life with Dorota by doing everything with her, such as traveling, baking and bowling. He was an avid golfer and took pride in his Hole in one. He spent many hours perfecting his bowling game and everyone rejoiced when he bowled a perfect 300 game.
Mark had a great sense of humour and a wonderful sense of hospitality. His joy and enthusiasm were infectious, and he would brighten up any room. Mark was lovingly known as the family bartender and always made sure everyone was in good spirits. He united the family with his passion for the game “Rak’em.” These qualities along with his kindness and compassion will be missed by his family and friends.
The family expresses heartfelt thanks to all who visited and prayed for him, along with the doctors and nurses who aided Mark.
