Obituary of Patricia Marie Mankewich

August 31, 1959- June 13, 2022

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Patti Mankewich (nee Kaminski) comfortably in her home at the age of 62 years.

She was predeceased by her loving parents, Benjamin & Rosemarie Kaminski

Patti will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband Julian, her daughter Kelli, stepson Matt (Sam), and her grandchildren Olivia, Jake and Joey; her sister Karen, as well as numerous family & friends, near and far. She also loved her fur-babies and would take in any that came her way – no matter if Julian wanted or not (he always relented anyway).

To put it lightly- Patti was one tough cookie. She was blunt and a little rough around the edges, but had a soft and caring heart. She wasn’t one to have folks’ fuss over he; she was humble in every sense of the word. That being said, she did not wish to have a formal service.

We will be celebrating her life in an intimate friends and family gathering at another time, details will follow once available.

We would like to thank her high school friend Candy Ingram for all her support and love, and being there from day one right up until the end. Also Dr. Harlos and Marisa from CancerCare Manitoba, Dr. Lamba and all the staff on GD4 for their attentiveness & compassion. We appreciate you all.
