JANINA CHABAJLUK

December 15, 1928 – June 16, 2022

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Janina Chabajluk on June 16, 2022 at the Grace Hospice at the age of 93.

Janina was predeceased by her husband Alex, in 1992, and her brother, Walter in 1997.

Leaving to mourn are her son Roman, daughter in law Hanna, and her two grandsons Martin and Michael. Janina also had various family members in Winnipeg and nieces and nephews in Poland.

Janina was born in Ukraine on December 15, 1928. Along with her parents and brother they moved to Poland several years later.

In 1962 Janina immigrated to Canada where she met and married her future husband, Alex.

Janina enjoyed going to Polo Park, gardening, and visiting family and friends.

Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday June 21, 2022 at 11:00am, at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, with interment to follow at All Saints Cemetary, 4535 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Janina can be made to The CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.

The family would like to thank the nurses and other staff at Riverview Health Centre, and Grace Hospice, for their time and care of our mother. Vichnaya Pamyat.
