Pauline Skinner (nee Bazyk)
September 4, 1931 – June 16, 2022
Peacefully on Thursday, June 16th, 2022 Pauline Skinner (Bazyk) passed away at Lions Manor in Winnipeg.
She was predeceased by her husband Nick, parents Anastasia and Harry Bazyk, brother John, sisters Ann (John) Kropelnicki, Mary (Mike) Bodie, Jean Bazyk and brother-in-law Henry Hiebert.
She is survived by her sister Helen Hiebert as well as her nieces, nephews and good friends.
She was born September 4th, 1931 and raised north of Teulon, MB. on the family farm until the age of fourteen. From then on, she resided in Winnipeg working at a wholesale in the exchange district and then at Burns. Pauline had a strong belief in the Lord and attended church as well as prayer meetings with her friends. She enjoyed shopping, meeting people and having coffee downtown. Her nieces will always remember checking out her closets admiring her new clothes and costume jewelry. She loved to dress!
Thank you to the wonderful staff at Lions Manor for their care and compassion over the last few years. A private family graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in her memory.
