Obituary of LES JOHN SZEREDI

Les John Szeredi passed away peacefully June 23, 2022 with his family by his side at Health Sciences Centre at the age of 86 years. He was predeceased by Randy Szeredi, his beloved grandson.

Les is lovingly remembered by his wife Eva, children Les (Vicky), Agnes (Cornel), and Carol (Jason), 13 grandchildren Leslie (Hailey), Marla (Will), Justin (Kimberly), Jessica, Jacob, Mark (Emily), Cornel (Hannah), William, Matthew, Josiah, Martina, Caitlin, Megan, and 8 great grandchildren Kylee, Alanah, Julie, Kase, Brielle, Ada, Benjin, and Aliviya. He is also survived by his sister Mari, and niece Andrea and nephew Akos in Hungary.

Les was born in Hungary and settled in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was married for 65 years to the love of his life Eva. He was an electrician by trade and worked many years at CNR Transcona. His passion was for the wilderness and he explored, fished and hunted the many corners of Manitoba and beyond. He loved his family deeply and his greatest delight was to spend time with them.

A private Celebration of Life will take place with family.
