Obituary of JOHN BRYLAK
JOHN BRYLAK
August 7, 1949 – July 2, 2022
It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we as a family announce the passing of John Brylak.
John was born in Poland and came to Canada in 1983 for a better life. He worked as a welder in Poland and Canada. John enjoyed travelling to Europe, Hawaii and Banff and also Mount Rushmore. John was a religious man and spent many hours reading his Polish bible. One of John’s pleasures was travelling in his motorhome to various campsites in Manitoba as well as in Ontario. He spent many hours painting in oil as well as acrylic. John also loved poetry. He had his poems published in the Polish language. He had many hobbies and enjoyed tinkering in his garage and fixing things. He loved his dog, Puszek and enjoyed his visits at the Park Manor Care Home.
John is survived by his loving wife, Paula, his son Daniel and family in Poland, his sisters Elzbieta and Danuta and family in Poland. Also cousins Peter Chodzinski and Violetta Grebowicz and families in Ontario as well as numerous relatives in Canada and Poland.
John was predeceased by his father, Mieczyslaw and his mother, Jozefa.
The family would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital as well as Park Manor Care Home for all the care they gave to John.
Cremation has taken place and John’s ashes will be buried with his father in Thunder Bay at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada, Parkinson Society of Manitoba or Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba.
John will be missed by all.
