Obituary of BARBARA LEONA PIECZKO

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, wife, and sister Barbara (Pietrzak) Pieczko.

Sadly on July 31, 2022 Barbara passed away peacefully at the Selkirk Regional Hospital.

Barbara was born September 15, 1944, the eldest of 4 children (Mary of British Columbia, Judy who is deceased and Andy of Florida).

She was a loving wife for 54 years to husband, Kazmier and a wonderful mother to 2 sons Robert (Nancy) and Christopher (Tara).

She is also leaving behind her 4 grandchildren CJ, Jacob, Peyton and Kendra, they were her whole life and brought joy and laughter to her each and every day. 

Barbara worked numerous jobs but loved working at Ludwick Catering, where she met and made so many wonderful lifelong friendships.

Our family is grateful for the compassion and care that was provided by the staff of Selkirk Regional Health Center during Barbara’s last days.  

She will be missed deeply from all.

Cremation has taken place, and no formal service will be held as per Barbara’s request.
