JOHN RUSSEL LETWIN

John Russel Letwin passed away suddenly with family by his side on October 25th at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 75.

John is lovingly remembered by his children Lanna Butler (Ken) of Toronto Ontario, Morgan Letwin of Winnipeg and grandchildren Addison and Emery. 

John was born in Stead Manitoba and moved to Southern Ontario as a young child. He enjoyed a long and successful career in the heavy equipment industry, later acquiring the principal Mack Truck franchise in Winnipeg Manitoba which has remained under the family’s control for 25 years. 

John loved hunting, the outdoors and was avidly involved in the horse industry, raising and competitively showing quarter horses for many years. 

The impression he left on those who knew and loved him will be everlasting. 

He was a true gentleman who lived life on his own terms. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
