Obituary of LORETTA YOUNG

LORETTA YOUNG (nee KOWAL) Surrounded by the love and thoughts of her family and friends, Loretta Young born July 17, 1942, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2013. Loretta was predeceased by her husband Gordon, parents Bill and Mary, sister Shirley Jadick and grandson Adam Young. She is survived by the love of her children Jim (Judi), Carolyn (George), Robert, grandsons Marc and Kevin, great grandsons Paxton and Gunner, sisters June, Edna and Judy as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and cousins. Loretta constantly surprised family and friends with her wit, direction and advice. She was the official armchair quarterback for her beloved Winnipeg Blue Bombers and had a passion for curling. Loretta was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother with a wonderful kind heart and she took great pleasure in the many accomplishments of all her family and friends. Respecting Loretta's wishes, a service will not be held but a birthday reception and celebration of life will take place over the summer.
