Obituary of STANISLAW KROWIAK

STANISŁAW (STAN) KROWIAK
OCTOBER 20, 1939 –DECEMBER 3, 2022

It is with heavy hearts, we announce that our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother Stanisław Krowiak, 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Grace Hospital with family by his side.

Stanisław will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Czesława; sister, Krystyna; four children, Janusz (Małgorzata), Krzysztof (Aneta), Kazimierz, and Anna (Garth); and grandchildren, Cassandra, Alex, David, Michael, and Emilia. Stanisław was predeceased by his parents, Michał and Katarzyna; his brother, Aleksander; and his sister, Maria.

Stanisław was born and raised in Sanok, Poland. There, he married his loving wife and had four children. Stanisław worked as a talented tradesman whose work can be recognized in many churches and houses across southeast Poland. In 1984, Stanisław moved to Winnipeg, MB, where he continued to work hard and steadfastly satisfied the needs of his family.

Stanislaw’s unwavering faith in God was the foundation upon which he built his life. Catholicism was essential to his character, and he ensured that his faith was similarly instilled in his children.

Stanisław will be fondly remembered as a caring father who put his family above everything else and a devoted Catholic who entrusted God with his eternal protection.

Our family would like to express our gratitude to the exceptional caregivers (Emil, Maria, Gina, Maricel, and others) from Esther’s Group Home Care Service and the staff at Grace Hospital.

The funeral service will be held at Holy Ghost Parish, 341 Selkirk Avenue. on December 9, 2022 at 10:00, preceded by prayers beginning at 9:30. Interment to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main Street.

Wieczny odpoczynek racz mu dać, Panie,
A światłość wiekuista niechaj mu świeci.
Niech odpoczywa w pokoju wiecznym.
Amen.
