Obituary of GRACE OSTROWSKI
Grace (Grazyna) Ostrowski (nee Slawinski)
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Grace Ostrowski.
Predeceased by her father Mateusz, mother Anastasia, husband Joseph, son Ronald, brothers Grzegorz, Kazimierz, Ireneusz, and sister Jadwiga.
She is survived by her son Jason and partner Tanja, grandson Jaden Ostrowski, daughter-in-law Michele Ostrowski, and in Poland brother Marek, and sister Barbara.
Grace immigrated to Canada from Poland as a teenager and lived with her uncle, until meeting Joseph her husband of 51 years. Grace and Joseph were dedicated members of Holy Ghost Church Parish.
Grace had a great love of gardening and flowers, spending hours in the yard despite her health challenges. She loved fashion, and would dress for any occasion- she could look good in any hat. There was always a fresh pot of coffee ready anytime you came by and you never left hungry after a visit.
Grace had an incredibly generous nature in so many ways and will dearly missed.
Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue. Interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery. For those unable to attend in person, mass will also be livestreamed on the Holy Ghost Parish website, and on Holy Ghost Parish YouTube channel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Ghost Parish in Grace’s memory.
