Obituary of ERYN MARYE RUDOLPH
Eryn Marye Rudolph (Mino-way-yaw-sih-mook)
May 9, 1999 – January 24, 2023
It is with great sadness that the family of Eryn announces her sudden passing on January 24 2023, at the age of 23 years old.
Her Anishinaabe name is Mino-way-yaw-sih-mook meaning, “when the sunlight caresses a cloud and makes it shimmer”.
Eryn was predeceased by her mother Lorette, her oldest sister Candace, her grandparents Veronique and Harry Ducharme, her grandmother Georgina, cousins April, Mavis, Bawbeewahsheek and her uncle Nelson.
Eryn leaves to mourn her loving partner Talisa, and her two children Taylyn and Emery, along with her father Kevin, her seven remaining siblings Brett, Lindsay, Kevyn, Robyn, Daryan, Ashtyn, and Morgyn. Her mother in-law Kate, sister in-law Alex, Kenia, Jazmin, and brother in-law Ethan. Eryn also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends that loved her dearly.
Eryn was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and was the third youngest of eight children born to her parents. She was raised in the north end of Winnipeg where she attended William Whyte Community School where she met her best friends Stanley, Lexi, and Kiana. She then went on to graduate with her grade 12 at Children of the Earth Highschool while being a stay-at-home mother to Taylyn. After graduation, Eryn found out she was pregnant with her daughter Emery. Eryn enjoyed cooking and having feasts with her family. She especially enjoyed when her mother in-law Kate would make cabbage rolls and moose meat stir fry, she would always make sure to bring home any leftovers. She loved family gatherings. Eryn was a friend to many people; she could spark up a conversation easily and was very outgoing.
The family would like to acknowledge Jeremy and Grace Mathison at Western Marble, Granite & Tile Ltd, and Shawna Nagler for their generous support.
The funeral service will occur on Friday, February 3, 2023 at 2:30 pm, with a viewing at 3:30 pm with cremation to follow at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB.
