BARBARA EILEEN PALESHNUIK
It is with Deep sadness we announce the passing of Barbara Eileen Paleshnuik.
Barbara was born July 5, 1931 in Saskatoon and grew up in Maymont, Saskatchewan and Prince Albert Saskatchewan, and moved to Winnipeg in 1947. In 1954 Barbara said Yes to Morris and were married June 5 , 1954 . Barbara raised 2 boys. Was involved with the Newfoundland Dog club Mb. Barb was an organist for St. Paul’s Anglican Church 20 plus years. Worship service Centre Organist for several years.
Barb was also known as the Perogi Lady with over 1 million Perogi under Her belt. She was also an excellent Baker always having a variety of baking to choose from as you walked through her kitchen. All Moms meals were scratch made no pre made anything Mom was an amazing cook. Once Morris retired Barb and Moe travelled to the Ukraine. And England many times, as well as places throughout Canada. Vancouver was their favourite place to travel too, to see their Grandson Cole son John and wife Leah. Barbara was able to see Cole grow into a handsome young man who she is very proud of.
Barbara leaves behind her son John (Leah) and Grandson Cole, son George (Stacey) and Grand-daughter Ashley, her sister Lorraine Byers (Hope) (Deceased). Her cousins Judy Williamson (Deceased), Peggy Scotton (Ed), Larry Dawson (Deceased), Shirley Feist (Deceased), and Eileen Combres.
