Christine, Wanda and Family......I just found out that Richard passed away......I have great memories going back to St John's where Richard and I served Mass together, beat the hell out of each other on the tennis court and had great time eating his mom's perogies on Pritchard . Richard and Christine were like brother and sister to me and we had good times with Zig, Boris , Don and the rest of the crowd hanging around in the old church hall next to the tennis court. This was a special time .....a bunch of kids who looked after one another and spent wonderful summer holidays being kids..... RIP Richard ......play " pay sucker pay" on the accordion for the crowd in Heaven,,,,,,,

Richard I can see you on the St John Cantius tennis court. You were such a presence there. Your accordion playing was amazing. When I lived in Belgium your parents told me where you lived in Hornu, we could have been neighbors. RIP dear Richard.

I played accordion with Richard in Ted Komar’s Accordion Symphony in the 1960s. I remember Richard as an accomplished accordionist, a fun-loving guy, and one of the the nicest guys you could ever meet. Our bus tours into Western Canada were especially memorable. I have very fond memories of these times. Most sincere condolences to the family and may my old friend rest in peace.

To the Piotrowski family, we are so sorry for your loss. Richard's sense of humor was always a highlight whenever we would be lucky enough to see him at Steve and Kim's home for dinner. He will definitely be missed. We hope you have lots of memories of the great times you had together. Wishing you peace, comfort, courage, and lots of love at this time of sorrow. Our hearts go out to you at this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Rishma & Anthony
