Obituary of RONALD ERIC TRAPP
Ronald Eric Trapp
November 14,1932-February 26,2023
As the sun was setting on February 26, Dad took his last breath. He was a kind, gentle and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather who will be dearly missed by his children Dave (Linda), Cheryl (Bill), Kevin (Ginette), Gerry (Lorna), Daughter in law Glenda, Randy (Charlene), Brian (Kirsten) grandchildren Trish, Garth, Eric, Danielle, Kaleigh, Andrea, Michael, Stephanie, Jamie, Scott, Ashley, Jesse, Bethany and Delaney, great grandchildren Freya, Zoe, Oliver, River, Benson, Karmen, Kallie, Elena, Sabrina, Aurora, Catiana, Elisabeth, Jaxon, and Lily
Dad was predeceased by his loving wife of 45 years Lorraine, his son Richard, his brother Harvey and great grandson Jack.
Dad proudly served as a Winnipeg firefighter for 34 years until his retirement as rank of captain in 1988. One of dad’s goals was to be retired as long as he worked. Dad was able to achieve that goal.
Dad had a few hobbies which included fishing, painting, lots of handyman projects and spending time with his family.
The family would like to thank all the healthcare workers for always doing their best to make sure dad was well cared for.
