Obituary of BERTHE LADOBRUK

BERTHE MARIE LADOBRUK
(COMPAIN)
September 26, 1938 – March 1, 2023

After a short battle with cancer, it is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Berthe Ladobruk.

Mom will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her three children Larry (Amy), David (Anngella) and Joyce (Bob), grandchildren Shaun, Keith, Cory (Rae), Mark (Jenna), Nicole (Morgan) and Bradley (Alexandra), great grandchildren Makayla, Paiton, Theodore, Sebastian, and Kingsley, brother Henry (Anne), Sister Jeanette, and many other family members and friends.

Mom enjoyed life. In Mom’s early years, she enjoyed camping and fishing. She enjoyed all sports, especially watching her children and grandchildren playing them. In her later years, she enjoyed the casino, watching curling, especially Brad Gushue and also watching her beloved Blue Jays. Most of all, her greatest joy was family. She cherished the time spent with family at get-togethers, BBQs, having ribs and creating laughs and memories. We’ll miss you Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma.

Berthe will be reunited in heaven with her parents, husband Mike, daughter Lori, brother George and sister Louise.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Riverview Health Center, 3rd floor east wing. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Berthe’s name to Riverview Health Center Foundation to continue the compassionate care we received.

At Berthe’s request, a private interment will take place and a private celebration of life at a later date.

My Mother…

May you always walk in sunshine
And God’s love around you flow,
For all the happiness you have us
No one will ever know.

It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone.
Mom, part of us went with you
The day God called you home.

Your thoughts were so full of us
You never could forget,
And so we think that where you are
You must be watching yet.

As Angels keep their watch up there
Please God just let Mom know,
That we down here will not forget
We love and miss her so.

If we could have one lifetime wish
One dream that could come true,
We would wish with all our hearts
For yesterday and you.

Lord if there are roses in Heaven
Pick a bunch with care,
Place them in both her arms
And tell her we still care.
